John Hancock today introduced a Web-based
presentation system that imports data from the company's
online illustration and inforce management system. Hancock can
now provide producers in all sales channels with a fully
integrated proposal system that instantly creates customized
illustrations and supporting documentation.
Called eHansel+, the new system generates sales presentations, product
information, executive overviews, summaries, and charts and graphs linked to
data from Hancock's eHansel illustration and inforce management system and
brands them for the appropriate Hancock sales channel. Hancock sales channels
with access to eHansel and eHansel+ include its Signator career agents,
Signator brokerage, direct brokerage, broker/dealer and M Group affiliates.
eHansel+ was introduced with online access to the company's top 25 life
insurance presentations and concepts and will grow to include an estimated 50
or more concepts by the end of the year.
Hancock worked with web system provider pTeraDac to design eHansel+ to be
intuitive and easy to use. Although the system is advanced technologically, all
users need do is run an illustration as normal (on eHansel) and then click on
the presentation button to select the accompanying presentation from eHansel+.
Because eHansel and eHansel+ are Web-based, producers can access casework from
any Internet ready computer. Both systems are maintained by the home office,
assuring producers that all materials are compliant and up-to-date. Producers
don't need to worry if they have the latest version, as they would if they used
a presentation program on a CD on their desktop computer.
"We think, together, the eHansel systems are the industry's most comprehensive
and technologically advanced sales support/proposal system -- and producers
will love using it," said Ken Nordstrom, vice president, Estate and Business
Sales. "The documents they get out of eHansel+ should set them apart from their
competition, help facilitate the sales process and close the sale. The total
package, which they can use from home, the office or on the road, should help
them increase productivity."
Not only does the system help producers, its web-based technology provides
Hancock with increased control over material in the field and reduced software
support costs. It enables Hancock to implement and support marketing campaigns
quickly, in an integrated fashion throughout its diverse sales channels.
